Digital heat control for chick brooders

Connect a compatible heat lamp or other heating device and select the desired temperature. This BN-LINK thermostat switches the connected heater on and off to help maintain that setting. Useful for brooders for laying-hen chicks, Gallitos Kikirikis Aztecas, and quail in their first weeks. Place the approximately 6-foot probe in the warm zone at chick height to measure the temperature where the birds are.

Heat source and heat mat not included. The controller does not produce heat.

Brooder recommendations

Position the probe at chick height in the warm area without letting it touch the lamp, heater, or heating plate. Set temperature for the species, age, and surroundings, and watch the birds: huddling under the heat may indicate they need more warmth, while moving away or panting may indicate too much heat.

Important: Use only compatible heating equipment. Do not exceed 8.3A / 1,000W. Do not immerse the controller or probe in water. Keep dry and protected from excessive dust and direct contact with birds.

Recomendaciones para criadoras

Coloca la sonda a la altura de los polluelos, en la zona cálida, sin que toque el foco, calentador o placa térmica. Ajusta la temperatura según la especie, edad y ambiente, y observa las aves: si se amontonan bajo la fuente de calor quizá necesitan más temperatura; si se alejan o jadean podría estar demasiado alta.
